NovoSend is a branded, end-to-end encrypted file sharing tool for creative freelancers. It's built solo by David Rodriguez Pozo from Spain.
One person. One product. No funding, no growth team, no quarterly slide deck. Just a tool I wished existed when I was sending files to clients myself.
Every time you send client work through a generic file-sharing service, the last thing your client sees isn't your logo — it's someone else's. Their ad. Their banner. Their colors. After years of delivering work this way, the gap between the care you put into the deliverable and the experience of receiving it kept bothering me.
NovoSend exists to close that gap. Your file delivery should feel like the rest of your studio: yours.
I'm David, an independent developer based in Spain. NovoSend is my full-time work — I write the code, run the infrastructure, and answer support emails. If something breaks, you can reach me directly at [email protected].
Solo means I can move fast and stay honest about what the product does and doesn't do. It also means every feature on the roadmap is there because a real person asked for it — not because a stakeholder wanted to ship something this quarter.
NovoSend uses end-to-end zero-knowledge encryption. Your files are encrypted in your browser using AES-256-GCM before they ever leave your device. The decryption key is embedded in the share link and never sent to NovoSend's servers.
In practice this means I cannot read your files, cannot recover them if you lose the link, and cannot hand them over to anyone who asks. The trade-off — you keep the key, you keep the responsibility — is worth it for client work.
